If you send https://gretchen.substack.com/subscribe, that should work, too. (If you are already subscribed and you visit that link, it will display differently for you...)

I will look for the subscribe button. I could not find any way to subscribe at gretchen.substack.com

And when I looked at the newsletter online I see my own name in a box but no way I can send someone else a link to make it easy for them to subscribe.
