Gretchen, thank you for this. What do you think about Mike Espy in MS?

I need to look at that one more closely. I know an internal poll had him down just a point, but all external polls I've seen have him down at least 10 points (and for older polls, as much as 26 points). I think it will be a very tough battle in a state that will go so solidly for Trump, but I'll do some more digging to see if it's actually closer than I think.

Thanks for the reply. Agreed that this one might be more of a long shot, but I think Espy is a great candidate.

Hi Gretchen - sorry if I’m being dense, but can you explain what the order of the list for September means? Most in need of funding? Most likely to win? (Don’t think it’s the latter, but just trying to clarify). Thanks!

Hi Erica! It actually is by likelihood of winning, though that's subject to a lot of debate. So, Kelly and Hickenlooper are likely to win (you could argue that Gideon is increasingly in this category, but she is less assured than Kelly and Hickenlooper); Cunningham and Greenfield (and increasingly Ossoff) are toss-ups mostly polling even; Bollier, Bullock, Hegar, Gross, and Warnock are polling slightly behind but very do-able with investment; McGrath, Harrison, and Perkins are polling further behind. Within these groups you could move them around. You could argue that Gideon, Bollier, and Bullock are really toss-ups, etc. But yes, the list is basically in order of flippability.

Hello! I really love this and have posted it on Facebook but I am curious about Amy McGrath having infinite money. Someone on my wall asked me about that so I thought I would ask you. I don’t want to steer people away from her if she needs money. I went to her site and she is still fund-raising so a little info would be helpful. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Hi Ann! My recommendation to not fund McGrath is based on my understanding that she has more cash on hand than she can effectively spend before November. She has also raised a tremendous amount in the last 48 hours.

I like Amy McGrath (even though I’m sure her campaign hates this email). I personally maxed out to her campaign many months ago, and I co-hosted a fundraiser for her earlier this spring. My recommendation to fund other candidates is based solely on the fact that I believe other campaigns need money more right now.

If you want to donate to help send a woman fighter pilot to the Senate, Hegar’s your candidate.
